24 Jan - Leonardo DiCaprio is working with Martin Scorsese yet again, this time for the 20th Century Studios' "The Devil in the White City".

The project, which is an adaptation of Erik Larson's 2003 true-crime nonfiction book of the same name, is currently in the early stages and doesn't even have a script.


Aside from starring in the Scorsese-helmer, DiCaprio will also produce the project under his Appian Way banner.

It is said that the actor has eyed the said book for a while after purchasing the film rights in 2010, with plans to portray one of the important characters, HH Holmes. The book itself focuses on World's Fair architect Daniel Burnham and of HH Holmes, a criminal figure widely considered the first serial killer in the United States.

Prior to Scorsese, Kathryn Bigelow was attached to direct.

This will be DiCaprio and Scorsese's latest project together after collaborating in numerous films including "Killers of the Flower Moon", "The Wolf of Wall Street", and "Gangs of New York".
