"One Battle After Another" gets most nominations for Golden Globes 2026

Leo's "One Battle After Another" leads 2026 Golden Globes noms

9 Dec - It wasn't "Sinners" or "Wicked: For Good," but it was the Leonardo DiCaprio-starrer, "One Battle After Another" that is dominating the nomination list for the 2026 Golden Globes Awards.

The American black comedy action thriller, which follows an ex-revolutionary who is forced back into his former combative lifestyle when he and his daughter are pursued by a corrupt military officer, received nine nominations in the announcement made on 8 December, including Best Motion Picture for Musical or Comedy.

Paul Thomas Anderson helmed the Leo-starrer

It is also nominated for Best Performance for Chase Infiniti and Leonardo DiCaprio, Best Performance in a Supporting Role for Teyana Taylor and Benicio Del Toro and Sean Penn, as well as Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson.

On the other hand, "Sinners," which earned 17 nominations at the Critics Choice Awards earlier, received seven nominations including for Michael B Jordan's performance.
