9 Jul - Korean superstars Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Minho and Director Kim Byung-woo are coming to Singapore! Purple Plan and Golden Village Pictures are thrilled to announce that these stars will be visiting on 29 July 2025 to promote the highly anticipated fantasy action thriller "Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy".

Based on the massively popular web novel and webtoon "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint", this star-studded adaptation features an impressive cast including Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Minho, Chae Soo-bin, Shin Seung-ho, Nana, Kwon Eun-seong and Jisoo.

"Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy" follows Kim Dok-ja (Ahn Hyo-seop), an ordinary office worker who happens to be the only devoted reader of an obscure web novel titled "Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse". After sending an angry message about the novel's disappointing ending, he finds himself thrust into the very apocalyptic world he'd been reading about. When the story's hero, Yu Jung-hyeok (Lee Minho), appears before him, Dok-ja must use his insider knowledge to navigate the chaos and rewrite destiny itself.

This marks Ahn Hyo-seop's exciting theatrical debut after establishing himself as a leading man through hit dramas like "Doctor Romantic 2 & 3", "Business Proposal" and "Lovers in the Red Sky". Fresh from voicing Jinu in Netflix's global animated hit "KPop Demon Hunters", he's ready to deliver a powerfully layered performance as Kim Dok-ja.

Lee Minho, beloved across Asia for iconic roles in "Boys over Flowers", "The Heirs" and "The Legend of the Blue Sea", continues to captivate global audiences. His portrayal of the formidable Yu Jung-hyeok promises to be truly unforgettable.

Directed by Kim Byung-woo (who also co-wrote the screenplay with Lee Jung-min), this film is shaping up to be one of Korea's biggest blockbusters of the year.

The source material has already proven its global appeal, with the original "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint" by duo singNsong garnering over 2.5 billion views worldwide. The web novel concluded in February 2020 but continues expanding through an ongoing epilogue series, while the webtoon adaptation (launched in 2020) is now available in 10 languages including English, Japanese, and French.
