25 Nov - Ranveer Singh has recently opened up about his romance with wife Deepika Padukone, revealing that the two started dating after working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram Leela".

The actor shared the story during an appearance at the prewedding celebration of US billionaire Padmaja and Rama Raju Mantena's daughter, Netra Mantena on 21 November in Udaipur, Rajasthan, saying how much the city means to him.

"I want to tell you, Udaipur is like a lucky charm for love stories. I shot a movie here called 'Ram Leela'. Have you seen it? It was back in the day and I was starring opposite your bhabi (sister in law). It was on the long Udaipur schedule of 'Ram Leela' that our love story blossomed," he said.

He added, "Since then it's been 13 years of togetherness, 7 years of marriage and one beautiful baby girl! So you see, Udaipur is very, very lucky for love stories!"

The couple got married in a private event held in November 2018 at Lake Como, Italy. The two welcomed their first child Dua in September last year and revealed her face for the first time on Diwali this year.
