18 Nov - Ryan Coogler recently revealed that his next project for Hollywood would be the third instalment of the Marvel superhero movie, "Black Panther".

The filmmaker shared as much at the "Sinners" panel at Deadline's Contenders Film: Los Angeles, saying that will be returning to Wakanda three years after the last film.

"If it was anybody but you, I would say, 'I can neither confirm or deny. But we're working on it hard... Yeah, it's the next movie," he said.

News of a third movie sparked as early as November last year, when Denzel Washington stated that Coogler was writing a part for him for the third instalment.

The original film, released in 2018, starred British actor Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa. The character first appeared in 2016's "Captain America: Civil War".

However, following his passing in August 2020 from colon cancer, the second movie, titled "Wakanda Forever" had Letitia Wright's Shuri taking over the title.
