13 May - "Shang Chi" star Simu Liu is now engaged!

The news of the engagement was revealed jointly by the Canadian actor and his fiancee Allison Hsu via social media with photos from his proposal in Paris, including one where Hsu showed off her diamond engagement ring.

They posted, "Us forever".

In another post, Liu shared a photo of the two of them kissing, still in Paris, which he captioned, "From weekends in Paris, day trips to Palm Springs, long nights on set, afternoons vegging on the couch and everything in between, I choose you forever and always."

Liu was rumoured to be dating the marketing director back in 2022. In November the same year, Hsu shared a photo of them together for the first time on Instagram.

They later made it official by appearing together at the premiere of the Christmas movie, "Violent Night".
