21 Jan - Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is recovering after a harrowing incident where he was stabbed six times during an attempted burglary at his Mumbai residence in the early hours of January 16, 2025. His sister, actress Soha Ali Khan, provided the said update on his condition during a recent media interaction in Mumbai.

"We are very very happy that he is recovering well. We are thankful, we feel blessed and grateful that it wasn't any worse. Thank you for all your wishes," Soha told reporters at a Mumbai event.

In a significant development, law enforcement has apprehended a suspect in connection with the attack. The alleged perpetrator, a Bangladeshi national who had been living in India under the assumed identity of Bijoy Das, reportedly entered the country illegally.

According to police reports, the suspect broke into the residence Saif shares with his wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, with the intention of theft.
