29 Oct - Sydney Sweeney is neither saying yes nor saying no to rumours that that she will be the next Bond girl in the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios' take on 007.

The actress, who was asked about the rumour amid fans sharing their favourite picks for the James Bond role and the Bond girl, stuttered at first when asked about it, saying, "I can't" and "I don't know."

Moments later, she continued, "To be honest, I don't know all the Bond rumours, but I've always been a huge fan of the franchise, and I'm excited and curious to see what they do with it."

Asked if she is interested to be playing a Bond girl, Sweeney responded, "Depends on the script. I think I'd have more fun as James Bond."

There has been many names circulating when it comes to who will play the fictional British spy. It was reported that an unknown actor has tested for the part, after Denis Villeneuve, who was chosen to helm the franchise, said that he and the producers prefer "a fresh face" to play the character.
