Marvel stars Zendaya and Tom Holland's romance leads to holiday proposal

Zendaya's Golden Globes diamond ring sets social media ablaze

8 Jan - Following speculations that stemmed from her obviously large diamond ring worn at the Golden Globes, it has now been confirmed that Zendaya is indeed engaged to beau and "Spider-Man" co-star, Tom Holland.

A family source told People Magazine that the British actor popped the question over the holidays while the two were at one of Zendaya's family homes.

Saying that everybody who is close to them knew that the two will eventually get engaged, the source added, "He's always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one. They have something very special."

As for the wedding, the source said that both stars will not be rushing and will take their time due to their hectic schedules.

The two met filming Marvel's "Spider-Man"

The two stars, who met filming the Marvel superhero movie, confirmed their romance back in September 2021, a few months after they were spotted kissing in a car.

Zendaya set tongues wagging at the red carpet of the Golden Globes on 7 January when she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger.
