Bobby Deol's "Bandar" moves to 5 June

30 Apr - It was revealed that Bobby Deol's upcoming starrer "Bandar" has now delayed its release to a June slot.

The news was confirmed by Zee Studios via its social media account with a poster of the movie. It stated, "Bandar to release in cinemas on June 5! A film directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Nikhil Dwivedi under the banner of Saffron Magicworks."

"Featuring Bobby Deol, Sanya Malhotra, Sapna Pabbi, Saba Azad, Indrajith Sukumaran, Jitendra Joshi, Raj B Shetty and Nagesh Bhonsle."

The film was originally scheduled for 22 May release, which would have it facing competition from David Dhawan's "Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai" and the Ananya Panday-starrer, "Chaand Mera Dil".

The upcoming movie has Bobby playing the role of Samar, a fading star who finds himself being accused of rape by his ex-girlfriend.
