23 Jun - Gracy Singh recently took to social media to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her hit film, "Lagaan".

The actress, who played the love interest Gauri to Aamir Khan's Bhuvan in the 2001 movie, posted a video on Instagram, where she spoke about how huge the character was that the name Gauri has become her second name.

"I congratulate Aamir Khan, Reena Dutta, the great director Ashutosh Gowariker, and the entire cast and crew of the film. Each and every person who has worked in Lagaan has contributed to its success," she expressed.

The epic period sports drama is set during the late Victorian period of British colonial rule in India, and tells the story of how a group of villagers learn how to play cricket after being challenged by an arrogant British Indian Army officer as a wager to avoid paying taxes.
