17 Apr - The new "Ocean's 11" prequel movie will not be about Danny Ocean and his heist team, but instead revolve around his equally wily parents.

This piece of information was revealed by Margot Robbie, who appeared at Las Vegas' CinemaCon as part of the Warner Bros 2027 slate.

"Before Danny Ocean ever stepped foot in Vegas, two masterminds taught him everything he knows - his parents. You'll see them in their prime, and in our new movie, pulling off an epic heist at the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix," she revealed.

Robbie will presumably play the mother, with Bradley Cooper to play the senior Ocean. Cooper is also set to direct the said project, following the departure of Lee Isaac Chung and Jay Roach.

Danny Ocean was portrayed by George Clooney in the 2001 movie helmed by Steven Soderbergh. He reprised the role in two other sequels.

The movie will be produced by Robbie's LuckyChap banner, and will begin filming this year.

It is scheduled for 25th June 2027 release.
