20 Jul - SS Rajamouli recently decided to wish Priyanka Chopra a happy birthday by unveiling images of the actress from the upcoming movie, "Varanasi".

On 18 July, which marks the actress' 44th birthday, the filmmaker posted two first-look photos of her character Mandakini from the movie, writing, "Grace when she smiles. Fire when she doesn't. Mandakini... @PriyankaChopra in #Varanasi."

The two photos revealed Priyanka in two very distinct personas. The first image, which has her in a sexy black outfit as she gives a fiery stare, shows off Mandakini as some sort of vampy, fierce character. However, the second photo features her girl-next-door cheerful vibe, which is a sharp contrast to the sultry first look.

The newly released look has also sparked speculation that it could be from the much-anticipated dance sequence that the actress had previously revealed she requested from Rajamouli.

The film marks Priyanka's return to Indian cinema, as well as Rajamouli's comeback following the success of "RRR".

"If there was any way of coming back to Indian cinema, it would be with the biggest Indian movie being made, and that undertaking is this film," she previously said about the project. "I think [Rajamouli's] vision is unlike anyone in this country or abroad. His cohort, if I may say so, is the Spielbergs of the world, the Nolans of the world, the Finchers of the world."
