21 Aug - Four years after the release of "Brahmāstra: Part One - Shiva," it was reported that the franchise is finally returning with the second movie soon.

Sources revealed that Ranbir Kapoor, who starred in the first film, will begin preparing for Part Two next year, as soon as he concludes shooting Nitesh Tiwari's "Ramayana Part 2". It was reported that the actor may begin filming the movie sometime in April.

"Ranbir is super excited to embark on this journey again. In a massive dual-role challenge, RK will portray both Dev and Shiva in the sequel," a source revealed.

Joining him on the project is wife Alia Bhatt, who will reprise her role as Isha.

In addition, it was reported that director Ayan Mukerji is also in talks to cast Deepika Padukone in the project for the role of Amrita.

"Ayan and the core team are confident about bringing Deepika on board, recognising that the role of Amruta requires an actor with immense gravitas. While discussions are on, official confirmations will depend on overall timeline alignments," the source shared.
