Salman Khan expresses concern over AI

1 Oct - Salman Khan has recently expressed concern over the misuse of AI, stressing that violators who make fake videos using artificial intelligence should be punished accordingly.

The actor expressed his thoughts on "Bigg Boss 20," saying that the progress of AI has turned scary, especially when it is used to copy the likeness and voice of other people.

"You said something, and someone used AI to edit it and abuse. You know what they're doing? They're making AI videos of so many people, and even I am there in the AI video," he continued.

Salman is not the first celebrity to have expressed concern over such trend. Rashmika Mandanna was one of the first to voice out her protest, after a deepfake video of her face was posted in 2023.

Others who have voiced such issue include Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, and Ranveer Singh.
