23 Jun - Shruti Haasan has finally dismissed rumours that she would be joining the upcoming collaborative film between dad Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth.

The actress, who was speculated to be getting involved in the film, which will be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, clarified in an interview, saying, "I am not acting in 'KH x RK'. But like every other fan, I am very excited to see what kind of script Nelson has created for this film."

Shruti also revealed that while she has recently met both her father and Rajinikanth, it had nothing to do with the project, as people assumed.

It is noted that the actress previously co-starred in Rajinikanth's "Coolie" and had expressed how it changed the way she sees the actor.

"After working with [him], I became a huge fan of his as well. His kindness, warmth, and the way he treats people left a lasting impression on me," she added.
