12 Jun - Taylor Swift surprised the audience at the world premiere of "Toy Story 5" with a performance of her new original song for the film "I Knew It, I Knew You". Videos of the surprise performance, as well as her duet of "You've Got a Friend in Me" with composer Randy Newman have since been shared online.

The premiere was attended by the voice cast and filmmakers behind Disney and Pixar's highly anticipated animated adventure, including Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Taylor Swift, Conan O'Brien, Greta Lee, Craig Robinson, Tony Hale, Andrew Stanton (director), Kenna Harris (co-director), Lindsey Collins (producer) and Randy Newman (composer).

The toys are back in Disney and Pixar's "Toy Story 5," and this time it's Toy meets Tech. Woody (voice of Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voice of Tim Allen), Jessie (voice of Joan Cusack) and the rest of the gang's jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad (voice of Greta Lee), a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie. Will playtime ever be the same?

"Toy Story 5" is rated PG and releases exclusively in cinemas 17 June 2026.
