Timothee Chalamet unveils first look of Paul Atreides in third "Dune"

18 Mar - Fresh from (not) winning Best Actor at the Academy Awards, Timothee Chalamet decided to stray away from the subject by unveiling the first image from the upcoming "Dune: Part Three".

On 16 March, the actor shared a photo of Paul Atreides on Instagram Story, an image much different from the character in the first and second film from director Denis Villeneuve.

The image sees the Duke of Arrakis in his corrupted form, after he has given in to transforming himself into the messianic figure Lisan al-Gaib.

It is noted that in the part two of the movie, released in 2024, Paul defeats the Harkonnens and launches a holy war against the Great Houses with his Fremen army.

The third film is based on Frank Herbert's second "Dune" novel, the 1969's "Dune messiah".

The first teaser will be live on TikTok on 18 March at 9:00am.
