5 Jan - Tommy Lee Jones' family has recently released a brief statement following news of daughter Victoria's passing.

On 2 January, the Jones' spoke up and expressed their appreciation for all the kind words, thoughts and prayers, adding, "Please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you."

Victoria Lee Jones, the younger daughter of the "Men in Black" star with former wife Kimberlea Cloughley, was found unresponsive on 1 January at the San Francisco Fairmont Hotel.

Victoria did not continue her acting career into adulthood

The San Francisco Fire Department said it received a call for medical assistance at 2.52 am, but was unable to resuscitate her. However, authorities stated that there were no indications that she may have taken her own life.

Victoria made her acting debut as a young age on her father's movie, "Men in Black II". She then took several small roles as a child actor, but did not continue acting into adulthood.

She was 34.
