3 Aug – Vin Diesel is pumped up for the upcoming "Fast and Furious" finale, saying that it is the best script he has read in decades. The actor-producer shared as much on social media on 1 August, posting the trailer from the first film, "The Fast and the Furious," which will be re-released this month in selected US theatres, and wrote, "You have no idea. When March 17th 2028 comes... you will thank God you got to see the first one in the theatres this summer." "I just read the Fast Forever script by Mike Leslie. It is the best script I have read in decades. I am still crying," he added. The upcoming final film, titled "Fast Forever," comes after the 2023 movie, "Fast X," directed by Louis Leterrier. It was originally scheduled for 2025 release, but was then delayed. In February 2024, Diesel revealed that the film will serve as a finale and that the movie will mark a 'return to the car culture, to the street racing".
