7 Jul - Step away, Kamal Haasan. There is a new "man with many roles" now, and his name is Yogi Babu.

It was reported that the comedian is set to play 11 distinct characters in an upcoming movie, to be helmed by director R. Kishore Kumar.

The movie reportedly will have Yogi playing all kinds of characters including the protagonist to antagonist, with all of the characters having different looks, body language and even dialect.

The story reportedly revolved around a team that is tasked to retrieve the lost black box of an Indian Army helicopter after it crashes. The movie will co-star Aditi Ravi, Redin Kingsley, VTV Ganesh, and many others.

It is noted that Kamal Haasan previously held the record for the most characters played in a movie, after playing 10 characters in "Dasavathaaram". The film's title, which means "the 10 reincarnations of Lord Vishnu", refers to the 10 different roles Kamal took in the movie, including that of a Brahmin priest, a dwarf, a scientist, a fighter, a tourist guide, an old woman, a beggar, a Punjabi, an African-American and even U.S. President George Bush!

Meanwhile, the actor will be seen next in "Jailer 2".
