3 Apr - Zendaya recently admitted that she knew Tom Holland was the right one after realising that she didn't feel nervous around the actor.

The actress shared as much recently on the "Modern Love" podcast to promote her new movie, "The Drama," stating that she felt peaceful and calm when she was with the British actor, and that she was more anxious when he wasn't around.

Zendaya said she first met Holland at an audition for 2017's "Spider-Man: Homecoming".

"So I was pretty nervous anyway, but he did make me feel calm... Just by being a nice person, you know? By making me feel comfortable. I mean, it's like having to do a chemistry read for a big movie like that. It's like, oh, you really want the job, and these kinds of things. And yeah, he was really lovely then," she said.

She eventually won the role of MJ to Holland's Spider-Man.

"I feel like I'm biased because I've been able to grow up with the person that I love and get to know them through being literally a teenager to now," Zendaya said of Holland, whom she has worked with for a decade now.

"So it's like, of course we're going to change and we're going to grow and life is like whatever, but I still feel like there's a bond or a connection that you feel like you know someone, at least enough to feel safe with them."

Nonetheless, Zendaya is mum as to whether or not she and Holland are now married.
