Edward Scissorhands

Edward is a nearly completed man-made human. Home-schooled by his inventor, Edward has almost all his body parts done except his hands when his inventor passes away due to a heart attack. Initially thought as a temporary solution, Edward is fitted with long pairs of scissors as hands. After years of living alone, Edward is invited to live with a local saleswoman Peg Boggs, who discovered him during a door-to-door visitation. Intimidated by his appearance, the rest of the Boggs family take some time to warm up to Edward before regarding him as a kind person. After perfecting his skills in hedge trimming and hair styling, Edward is praised as a local celebrity in town until he is accused of a crime he does not commit.
