Wild At Heart

After serving prison time for a self-defence murder, Sailor (Nicolas Cage) reunites with girlfriend Lula (Laura Dern). Lula`s mother, Marietta (Dern`s real-life mother Diane Ladd in an Academy Award-nominated role), desperate to keep them apart, hires a hit man to kill Sailor. The young lovers are on the run and their journey takes them into the dark heart of America where dangers and temptations lurk.. and where only their love can truly protect them. But even their all-consuming passion may not withstand the sinister presence of Bobby Peru (Willem Dafoe), Sailor`s old buddy who is also out to get him.
