Who would've thought that the whole cast of NBC's Saturday Night Live (SNL) 1990 to 1991 cast, with the exception of Kevin James (who didn't feature in Saturday Night Live) is reunited with their alumni who had graced SNL in this movie. Each of the cast of "Grown Ups" is hilarious in their own right and is at their best performance.

"Grown Ups" is about a group of kids who played in a junior basketball championship where Lenny played by Adam Sandler scored a bank shot to win the championship. Their coach gave them a parting word each. After they've all grown up, the group learnt of their coach's passing, leaving the group to revisit the place they last celebrated the success.

Each lead character lacks the character development but the drawing attractions are the ensemble cast of comedian that are in this movie. The writer feels that the plot where the ex-players that Lenny and his friend beat to win the championship was great to balance out the funniness of the whole movie with a serious ending. "Grown Ups" is best summarize as a movie with moral values that one would benefit immensely after watching the movie.

The shenanigans of the cast are absolutely top class! In one scene, there was a game in the movie which all of them claim that Lenny was the one that concocted the game, involving an arrow roulette where one will shoot the arrow up in the air. The arrow that stayed still the longest without moving was deemed the winner. Total classic.

Just like The Expendables who has an ensemble cast filled with action stars, Grown Ups are filled with top notch comedians. Overall, the writer can safely say that the wackiness of Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, and Rob Schneider can overwhelm any setback that these movies could possibly have.
