Watch this if you liked: “Happy Feet” and “Alvin & The Chipmunks”

"Happy Feet Two", like its predecessor, consists of adorable penguins. It is the type of movie that makes you go "Awww" every ten minutes or so.

The only bane about "Happy Feet Two" is that it has no strong points when it comes to the story. In fact, the story seems to be going in every which way. When you think it is going north, the story goes south. When you think it will keep on going south, it makes a roundabout back north. Somehow the storyline caters to the songs rather than the songs being made to complement the latter.

Mumble is still the same lovable penguin that cannot sing but he certainly can dance his way through anything. The story follows Mumble, wanting nothing else but to be his son Erik's role model and yet the little one idolises a puffin called Sven (voiced by Hank Azaria). At the same time, there are many subplots, such as the one about two krills called Will and Bill, an elephant seal called The Beach Master, Sven the puffin pretending to be a penguin and Ramon's quest to win his one true love. The subplots somehow drown Mumble's own story that sometimes you just forget about he is there.

Robin Williams and Elijah Wood reprise their roles as Lovelace/Ramon and Mumble respectively. The newly added voice actors are quite interesting too, with Matt Damon and Brad Pitt playing hilarious characters Bill the naive and Will the overly-ambitious krill. Alecia Moore (more famously known as singer Pink) replaces the late Brittany Murphy as Mumble's wife, Gloria and her soulful voice added a much needed character when it comes to adding the pizzazz to songs that are the trademark of a "Happy Feet" movie. But it is Hank Azaria's exotic accent that brings in the laughs every time The Mighty Sven talks of his amazing ability to fly. And if you think the so-cute-I-want-him-as-a-pet Erik is played by a kid, then you must have made the same mistake once while watching "Rugrats" for Erik is voiced by E.G. Daily, the famous voice actor that voiced Tommy Pickles, and also Buttercup from "Powerpuff Girls".

The songs in this movie are to die for. The movie started with "Rhythm Nation", "Sexyback" and few other songs that will quickly capture your attention. The movie combines 80's songs, rock-anthems and many more that will keep audiences entertained. Pink's "Bridge of Light" is a powerful number, and E.G. Daily's rendition of a song that was inspired by Puccini's opera is heartwarming and beautiful.

In short, "Happy Feet Two" is the type of movie both children and adults will enjoy. While the kids are falling in love with the adorable baby penguins, Will and Bill's occasional chitchat and so-called life lessons will keep the adults laughing throughout the movie.
