"Chalet Girl" is not like a typical romantic comedy movie, this is so as it encompasses British humour and a mainly British cast with the exception of Brooke Shields, Sophia Bush, and Nicolas Braun who are American.

The reviewer feels that the movie pacing was well done to suit the natural progression of the storyline, as it slowly explains the reason lead actress Kim played by Felicity Jones who opts out of the sport she clearly likes to support her father who is in distraught after the death of her mother.

The writer feels that the storyline may be a tad too predictable at times, but the British humour that was incorporated into the movie made it quite interesting as the reviewer can relate well to British humour that is undoubtly much witty than American humour.

The reviewer also felt that the acting by Felicity Jones was brilliant as she went from a normal girl working in a burger shack to working in a high-end Chalet for the rich family was not too corny. The performance she gave was a standout after acting alongside "Gossip Girls" Ed Westwick, who was good in his role in playing the 'nice guy' this time.

Do give "Chalet Girl" a chance if you like lovable romantic comedies and also British humour, because as bad as the title seems, the movie isn't.
