Watch this if you liked: "KL Gangster" and "KL Menjerit"
"Langgar" is a film that should be viewed by fans of action films. Directed by Syed Hussein Syed Mustafa, also known as Sein from Ruffedge, his first directorial attempt turned out great and did not disappoint.
The film had two themes which are revenge and crime. The director succeeded in making this a film that does not bore or confuse the audience and it could even be compared to the highly praised film "KL Gangster".
There are several factors that very interesting in terms of acting. Adi Putra, as usual, managed to play his character effectively and should be commended. Meanwhile,
the addition of Bell Ngasri in the film is also a wise choice. Bell plays Adi Putra's good friend; his bold yet cowardly character makes the audience see how great he is at portraying his role.
While some dialogue sounds too rude, it is still reasonable as the atmosphere around him seems suited for them to do so. It is important for the characters to liven up the dialogue without it being too overdramatic.
Credits have to be given to Namron and his supporting character Zul Huzaimy, whose quiet and weird persona is similar to Urushibara Ryo in the movie "Crows Zero 2". The characters brought to the film by Khir Rahman in this film are absolutely crazy and mad funny.
In action movies, the action scenes themselves are at stake as that is the point of the film in the first place. For "Langgar", there are very violent action sequences but it is not difficult for you to watch at all as the cinematography is well done, especially during the point-of-view action sequences.
"Langgar" tells the story of Nizam (Adi Putra) who wants to avenge the death of his wife, Aina (Nadia Heng) who in late pregnancy was raped and murdered by a group of gangsters. Nizam decides to take revenge by joining a group of gangsters led by Radzi (Namron). After being tested by Loy (Zulhuzaimy) who is in Radzi's gang, Nizam joins them, and his plans for revenge begins.
In conclusion, "Langgar" is a movie you should watch!
