Watch this if you liked: "Alice In Wonderland" & "Snow White And The Huntsman"

The Good, the Bad and the not so Magnificent: If ever there was a movie made to glorify Angelina Jolie's beauty, then this is it. Giving the classic fairytale a predictable spin, audiences should not expect to be blown away by "Maleficent" (all the best parts are seen in the trailer anyway), but instead revel in this retelling that is unabashedly aimed for younger audiences. Leaving all the other characters to falter in the background to play her second fiddle, Angelina Jolie portrays the wicked fairy marvelously and there is no other actress who could've possibly taken the role by its horns (pun intended). However, that alone does not help elevate the overall merit of this film to greater heights that it could've been. Being a Disney movie though, it is understandable that the film could not have taken a much darker spin that it already has. "Maleficent" delivers a similar feel to Tim Burton's "Alice In Wonderland".

Look Out For: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt who appears as the young Princess Aurora for a few seconds in a heart-warming scene with her mother on screen.

Trivia: The reason why Vivienne Jolie-Pitt was chosen for the scene mentioned above was because Angelina Jolie in full costume and make-up had scared little girls. Since it's her mother playing Maleficent, Vivienne was not scared of Angelina.

Best Watched With: Since "Maleficent" can look quite scary at times, kids over the age of 6 and adults who don't mind the usual Disney fairytale fare would be the best company to watch this with.
