Hercules

Nearly 3,200 years ago, a tormented soul walked the Earth as neither man nor God: Hercules, powerful son of the God-king Zeus, and for this he received nothing but suffering. After 12 arduous labors and the loss of his family, this dark, world-weary soul turned his back on the Gods, finding solace only in bloody battle. Over the years, he warmed to the company of six similar souls, bonded by their love of fighting and the presence of death never questioning where they go or who they fight, just how much they will be paid. Now the King of Thrace has hired these mercenaries to turn his men into the greatest army of all time, which means training them to be as bloodthirsty and ruthless as their own reputation. It is time for this band of lost souls to finally have their eyes opened to how far they have fallen and the narrow, perilous path to their own redemption.

Watch this if you liked: "The Scorpion King", "G.I. Joe: Retaliation", "Conan the Barbarian", "Prince Of Persia"

The Good, the Bad and The Rock: Obviously better than that other "Hercules" movie released earlier this year, it would seem that this is the role Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson was born to play. Or is it? Expect no Herculean effort where the story line is concerned, but if you're looking for action ala-The Rock style, then this will not disappoint. Hey, at least this mindless action makes more sense then "Transformers: Age Of Extinction"!

Look Out For: Your eyeballs sizzling when Sports Illustrated model Irina Shayk, the girlfriend of footballer Christiano Ronaldo makes her film debut as Hercules' wife, Megara, on screen.

Trivia: Joseph Fiennes who plays the villain, King Eurystheus, is the brother of another famous villain actor, Ralph Fiennes aka. Voldemort from "Harry Potter".

Best Watched With: Boys. Men. Your brother, father or even grandfather. Anyone with testosterone will enjoy this.
