Movie Details

Minions

Minions are yellow henchmen, who have existed since the beginning of time, evolving from yellow single-celled organisms into beings who have only one purpose: to serve the history`s most ambitious villains. After their ineptitude destroys all their masters, including T. Rex, and Dracula, they decide to isolate themselves from the world and start a new life in Antarctica. Sometime in the 1960s, the lack of a master drives them into depression, so Kevin the Minion and two other volunteers set out to find a new one. They arrive at a villain convention, where they compete for the right to be henchmen for Scarlet Overkill, a stylish and ambitious villain determined to dominate the world and become the first female super-villain.

Watch this if you liked: “Despicable Me” and “Penguins of Madagascar”

The Good, the Bad and the Three Bananas:

• The film is a vibrant and lively film following the crazy and fun adventures of three nonsensical babbling yellow creatures called Minions.

• It is a perfect film for the younger audience as it is filled with silly slapstick comedy and everything that defies logic in a fun way.

• Unlike its predecessor "Despicable Me", there is nothing deep or thought-provoking or heartfelt this movie, as it is purely for entertainment.

• The gibberish-talking trio will somehow remind you of the "Three Stooges".

• All in all, it is a movie not-to-be-missed and the good thing is that it is catered towards both children and adults.

Trivia:

• The three minions; Stuart, Kevin and Bob were designed to resemble Gru's adopted daughters; Margo, Agnes and Edith from "Despicable Me".
