The Good, the Bad and the Out-of-Control Zombies:

• Though the pace of the movie is kind of slow, it certainly has some captivating elements like the familial bond, the gruesome thrills and the touching performances by both the main cast.

• But if you take away all the zombie-related elements, the film is just about a teenage girl going through a terminal illness.

• Schwarzenegger's performance in the film is very refreshing as it is not the type of film he would typically star in.

Trivia:

• Chloë Grace Moretz and Paddy Considine were originally going to star in the film.
