The Good, the Bad and the Pound of mess:

• The movie seems like it was meant to go straight to DVD instead of the big screen as it has an overall low quality to it, starting from the bad script to its bad casting to the bad editing.

• The script is never short of cheesy dialogues and the bad audio dubbing does not make the lines any more pleasant to listen to.

• The effects used are definitely not on par with what action films have to offer nowadays. The usage of green screen and body doubles are so obvious it was as though no effort was put to properly edit the movie.

• No doubt Jean-Claude Van Damme can still kick and punch impressively but even the action hero cannot save this poorly-scripted and poorly-edited mess.

Trivia:

• John Salvitti, who choreographed the fight scenes, is a fight and stunt choreographer who started his film career with Donnie Yen and has been part of the latter's fight team for a long time now.
