Chappie

A robotics engineer of a weapons firm, Deon Wilson (Dev Patel) steals a discarded police robot to test out his new program that allows robots to have a conscious. But when thugs kidnap him and the innocent childlike robot, CHAPPiE (Sharlto Copley), the robot is plunged into the world of violent South African gangsterism. At the same time, Deon`s jealous co-worker Vincent (Hugh Jackman) finds out what Deon is up to and is bent on bringing him down at all costs.
