Tsukiji Market is the biggest wholesale fish and seafood market in the world. It was built 80 years ago during the Edo era. The fish and seafood from Tsukiji serve as the core of "washoku", the traditional cuisine of Japan which has been added to the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2012. The documentary shows the passion of Japanese people in Tsukiji, the knowledge surrounding seafood and the importance of Japanese traditional cuisine.
