Watch this if you liked: “Train to Busan”

The Good, the Bad and the Soulless Station:

• The film was made much earlier than "Train to Busan", but it was not released in cinemas because the studios feared that it will be a disaster since animated films don't do very well in Korea. However, thanks to "Train to Busan", all that has changed.

• Unlike the live action film which has a handsome actor as the main lead, the animated feature film is not afraid to show the reality and ugly side of South Korean society and the characters too, look very much like real Koreans, unlike Japanese animation.

• The film is also not afraid to show the disenfranchised South Korean society which consists of the lower class members such as the homeless and the sex slaves, and these social issues are the underlying subtext of the film, and it is not even subtle.

Trivia:

• The film serves as the prequel to the live-action film "Train to Busan"
