Rupture

Renee Morgan, a single mother living in a suburban home with her twelve-year-old son, is unaware that they are being watched by a mysterious organisation. After getting kidnapped by a group of strangers while running her daily errands, she ends up in a laboratory, where she is tied up and questioned about her medical history. Through the struggles she uncovers a powerful secret about herself, one that causes her to "Rupture" and release her own alien nature.

The Good, the Bad and the Sudden Abduction:

• Despite an intriguing premise and an interesting title, the movie doesn't turn out to be as good as it is expected to be.

• Though the film may have a good and balanced pace, it is outweighed by the poor direction and bad screenplay.

• The film has a familiar plot, similar too every other sci-fi genre out there and the plot twists were pointless and empty.

• The film also has way too many sub-genres which makes the whole story very confusing.

• The acting is quite questionable as well, except for lead actress Noomi Rapace, but her performance is not enough to make up for the rest of the film.
