Watch this if you liked: “The Book of Life”

The Good, the Bad and the Land of the Dead:

• A story rich in culture, first-class animation and production design, complex and well-written narrative, and top-notch performances - the movie is already worthy enough to win an Oscar.

• This endearing animation has a similar theme and structure of 2014's "The Book of Life", but it has way more heart and soul, making "Coco" the better entry.

• Like all the Pixar-made films, "Coco" is heart-warming, delightful and is extremely ambitious, filled with complexity and emotions, and also breath-taking visuals to give audience the most fulfilling experience.

• The musical score is excellent as it pays homage to the traditional mariachi style still practiced in Mexico today.

Trivia:

• The Pizza Planet Truck that appears in many Pixar films can be seen briefly driving in front of the Rivera Shoe Store, just as Mama Julia is explaining the 'no music in this house' rule to Miguel.
