Watch this if you liked: “Transformers: The Last Knight”

The Good, the Bad and the Kaijus:

• Poor scripting that will leave you cringing throughout most of the movie.

• Characters are mostly seen to have conversations between one another filled with weird dialogues that leave you confused and only to have it rudely interrupted by giant explosions or monster attacks.

• The story, although is obvious, did a good job at building into the finale with the protagonist stepping up and taking charge as usual.

• The CGI however is amazing. It really brings the robots versus monsters theme to a whole new level. The fight scenes were enjoyable and intense, and it will have you at the edge of your seats.

• Character development didn't make much sense, but John Boyega did very well in presenting a likeable protagonist who turned into someone respectable as well as a strong leader.

Trivia:

• During the final battle between the Jaegers and Kaijus, you can spot a statue of Unicorn Gundam from the Gundam franchise in the midst of the fight.
