The Good, the Bad and the Suburban Neighbourhood:

• "Suburbicon" is a mixture of crime flick, dark comedy and social drama in one single movie, and it is surprisingly enjoyable.

• The movie may not be George Clooney's best entry but it has a lot of interesting elements including a classy thriller, bizarre humour, and its fitting retro setting.

• The movie features two different stories which are both compelling in its very own way, but has little to no connection. Some may find this off putting, but they actually each tell their own unique tales individually.

• But nevertheless, this dark comedic drama is engaging and entertaining as it captures the tone, fashion, and setting of the 1950s era, with acting that relies on stereotypes rather than character development.

Trivia:

• This marks the first time that George Clooney directs a film in which he does not also have an acting role.
