The Good, the Bad and the Rice Scientist:

• A Bollywood-style musical set with Indian-flavoured pop music. It mixes up between the western and Indian culture which is rather unique in terms of the interactions it creates between the beliefs of the characters.

• Characters were poorly written in both introduction and development as it's difficult to tell the intentions of one as well as whether that person is good or bad. It's confusing from the way they interact with each other as well as certain scenarios which brings them to awkward situations.

• Instead of being the typical condescending "white saviour" movie however, the story highlights on how the party in which Linda, played by Brie Larson, is the one that's corrupted, which is a twist filled with strong messages about the community.

• The music is enjoyable much like any other Bollywood movie scores would be. It's catchy and would have your foot tapping into the groove before you even notice it.
