Will, a former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran, now holds a job assessing security for skyscrapers. During an assignment in China, he gets framed for a fire that has suddenly set the tallest, safest building in the world ablaze. Now not only does he have to clear his name and track the real culprits, he will also have to find a way to rescue his family who is trapped inside the burning building.
