Businessman Harold Soyink gets sent to Mexico for a work trip. There, he gets tangled with two-faced business partners, Mexican drug lords, international mercenaries, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). His bosses at a pharmaceutical company are not much help to him as they only focus on making money. Harold will have to find his own way to survive the situation at one of the most dangerous places on Earth.

The Good, the Bad and the Senseless Action:

• The film flows in a fast pace but instead of it being in an exciting manner; it feels exhausting to follow.

• It's difficult to build a relationship between the audience and the character, specifically David Oyelowo's Harold, with a character that's written fairly thinly.

• The entire story just feels like an action-packed roller coaster ride with no real meaning or message to it. The fight scenes were acceptably entertaining with decent choreography delivered between the cast.

• There are some clever moments from the narrative when building into the conclusion, which turns out to be something entertaining to look forward to, but the resolution is a very lacklustre and generic ending.
