Pad Man

Based on the book "The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad" by Twinkle Khanna, the movie follows a newly-wed man named Lakshmi who, shocked by his wife`s lack of concern with personal hygiene during her menstruation cycle, decides to create sanitary napkins that women in rural India can easily afford. Unfortunately, his wife doesn`t want to be a part of his experiment and leaves him. Undeterred, he continues his effort, resulting in his creation of a machine that produces sanitary napkins, revolutionising the concept of menstrual hygiene in the country.
