Cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Steven Murphy takes the fatherless 16-year-old Martin under his wing and the boy begins to push himself more into the man`s life in gradually unsettling ways. After he introduces Martin to his wife Anna and his young children Kim and Bob, the family finds their world thrown into turmoil.
