Living in New York with her husband Dean and their two daughters, Laura happily thinks that she lives a wonderful married life. She begins to have doubts only when Dean starts working later and later, spending more time with a new co-worker. She turns to her playboy father for help investigating the matter. As the two of them tail Dean, leading them on hilarious adventures across the city, she finds that she and her father are growing closer together despite the things they have been through.
