The Edge Of Daybreak (SGIFF)

Decades of generational trauma haunt a Thai family through dreams, dragging them through reliving Thailand`s fraught politics. As they face the Thammasat massacre of 1976 and the military coup d`etat of 2006, they find themselves suffocated by their family`s past. No longer allowed to run away from it, they turn to face their trauma and suffering head-on: triggered by the loss of a husband today, and the loss of a young girl`s life 30 years ago.
