Cartoons Underground (CU) is Singapore`s premiere and largest animation film festival, dedicated to showcasing the best award-winning international and local animation works. A total of 15 films have been selected from an incredible 1,582 entries submitted from 103 countries. The submissions showcased a unique variety of voices, themes and stories. This year`s selection continues Cartoons Underground`s mission of championing independent animated short films that challenge boundaries of the medium, experiment in new storytelling approaches and tell personal stories that tug at the heartstrings.
