11 Sep – Richard Kiel, the steel-toothed villain behind two of "James Bond" film; "The Spy Who Loved Me" (1977) and "Moonraker" (1979), Jaws, passed away on Wednesday, 10 September 2014 at the age of 74, three days before his 75th birthday. Kiel died on Wednesday afternoon at Saint Agnes medical centre in Fresno, California a week after he had broken his leg. It is not known whether his death was caused by this, TMZ reported. Kiel was noted for his tall figure, which is 7 feet 1.5 inches (217 cm). His distinctive height and features were a result of a hormonal condition known as acromegaly. Since Kiel was a veteran actor, he is more well-known among the elder movie and television viewers, but among the younger generation, he is probably known for his role as Mr Larson in Adam Sandler's 1996 film, "Happy Gilmore".
Kiel most recent film involvement is in Disney's 2010 animated film, "Tangled" where he voiced one of the thugs named Vladimir who is fond of collecting ceramic unicorns. Kiel was survived by his wife, Diane, and three children.
