10 Nov – Rebel intelligence officer Cassian Andor made his big screen debut in 2016's "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story", soon fans will get to see him on the small screen too. A "Star Wars" spinoff series focusing on the Rebel Alliance Captain is currently being developed by Lucasfilm, as revealed on StarWars.Com. Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger announced that the series will be made for Disney's direct-to-consumer streaming service, which now goes by the name Disney+. Since the series will be live-action, this means Diego Luna, who starred as Cassian Andor in the movie version, will be reprising the role for the series. "Going back to the "Star Wars" universe is very special for me," said Luna.
